Breaking: Terrorist attack against the Minister of Foreign Affairs supposed

April 21, 2012 a bomb exploded close to the house of the Lostislandic Minister of Foreign Affairs John Gordon (Great Britain). The British police officers and the Royal Navy Bomb Squad arrived at the scene, presently no information is known about the organizers of the attack and its aim. Noting that the bomb exloded very close to the house of the Lostislandic official, the Government can not exclude that the attack was aimed against Mr. Gordon and members of his family.
Mr. Gordon was not injured during the attack, nor any other victims are known. One car is in fire.
The Government will inform in case more information would araise.

Treaty signed between Lostisland and Indokistan

April 19, 2012 as a result of correspondence between Yaroslav Mar, Captain Regent of the Republic of Lostisland, and Nabil Ihsan, President of the Republic of Indokistan, was signed a Treaty of Mutual Recognition and Establishment of Diplomatic Relations. According to the treaty, the two Republics establish diplomatic relations, recognizing each others' independence and sovereingty. The Government of Lostisland hopes for the eternal friendship between the two countries, and wishes all the best and long life to the glorious nation of Indokistan.

Treaty signed between Lostisland and Pristinia

April 17, 2012 as a result of correspondence between H.E. Yaroslav Mar, Captain Regent of the Republic of Lostisland, and H.E. Sebastian Linden, President of the Free Republic of Pristinia, was signed a Treaty of Mutual Assistance and Recognition between Lostisland and Pristinia. According to the treaty, both parties recognize each other as sovereign and independent nation-states and their respective executive, judicial and legislative branches as exercising control as legitimate authorities over each respective nation's claimed territory. Treaty signed between Lostisland and Flandrensis

April 15, 2012 as a result of correspondence between H.E. Yaroslav Mar, Captain Regent of the Republic of Lostisland, and H.R.H. Grand Duke of Flandrensis, Secretary-General of the Flandrensisian Commonwealth, was signed a Treaty of Friendship and Co-operation between the Flandrensisian Commonwealth and the Republic of Lostisland. According to the treaty, both parties recognize each other's sovereignty and the right to statehood, as well as agree to remain neutral in any micronational wars and endeavor to support the official positions of each other in case of an ideological or political conflict.
Several weeks before, Captain Regent Yaroslav Mar received the title of the Baron of Flandrensis.

LNC presents the official website

April 14, 2012 the Lostislandic National Congress (LNC) presented its official website, which contains the utmost information about the Party, its aims, activities and membership form. While the website is in English, the officials of the party hope to eventually create the Russian version, and so make the website more accessible for those Lostislandians whose native language is Russian.
The Lostislandic National Congress is the largest political party of the nation, formed at March 18th, 2012 from the former Democratic and Republican parties, which united to resist the communist expansion. IMTO dissolved after the withdrawal of Lostisland

April 11th, 2012 the Inter-Micronational Treaty Organization was officially dissolved by the Secretary-General Casey Hamlin.
Several hours before the St.Charlian Observer published an article which includes recently unleashed by the St.Charlian Ministry of War document, with a verbatim report of a chat between Hamlin and Riley Small. The report clearly shows that Hamlin tried to persuade Small to join a misinformation campaign asking him to start a rumor about the imminent dissolution of the IMTO in order to "pressure" the Captain Regent of Lostisland Yaroslav Mar to withdraw from the organization and so stop disturbing Hamlin. Meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the President of the Union of Draegean Republics

April 7, 2012 within the 2012 'Chairs of East Anglia' Summit was held a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lostisland John Gordon (on the right), where he attended both as Lostislandic and Firdanorian delegate and the President of the Union of Draegean Republics Daniel Morris (on the left). During the meeting was reached a preliminary agreement about the mutual recognition and establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs John Gordon is also the Secretary-General of the Communist Party of Lostisland and a runner in the 2012 General Elections.

First communist minister appointed

April 3rd, 2012 by the Decree DEC CAR 08|03|04|12 John Gordon, Secretary-General of the Communist Party of Lostisland was appointed to the post of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lostisland, becoming the third person who occupies this post (after the notorious Theodore Tishkevicius and Lone Nishanth) and first communist minister in the history of Lostisland ever.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs is in charge for all the international activities of the nation, including relations with other countries, presence in international organizations, consular and diplomatic services. Democrats and Republicans unite to resist communist expansion

March 18th, 2012 by the Decree DEC CAR 06|18|03|12 State Registration Certificate was given to the Lostislandic National Congress - a newly-established political party, which unites the Republican and Democratic parties, disbanded at the same day. As Mar and Ignatiev, leaders of the newly-founded alliance are saying, "the decision for unification was caused by scaring strenghtening of the Communist positions, especially of the Communist Party of Lostisland, lead by John Gordon.
