Is Lostisland a serious nation or it is a game?
No, it is not a game. The Republic of Lostisland is a serious nation, which has it's own government, population and territory. Agreeing to the Montevideo Convention, a state is a subject in international law
if it meets the following criteria: 1) a defined territory; 2) a
permanent population; 3) a government and 4) a capacity to enter into
relations with other states. The Republic of Lostisland corresponds to all these criterias. It has
1) a defined territory - Hunter Island in the South Pacific;
2) a permanent population - approx. 20 citizens;
3) a government - Captains Regent;
4) a capacity to enter into relations with other states - working Ministry of Foreign Affairs and many treaties, signed with foreign nations.
We welcome everybody who wishes to contribute to the successful growing of our statehood and become our citizen.
